Full job description
The Lock Assembly Line Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations of the lock assembly line, ensuring smooth workflow, consistent product quality, and adherence to production targets. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical understanding of lock mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the lock assembly line.
-Plan shift schedules, manpower allocation, and workflow organization.
-Ensure production targets, output quality, and timelines are consistently met.
-Ensure adherence to quality standards for all locks, components, and sub-assemblies.
-Conduct random inspections and ensure QC checks are properly documented.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of assembly operators and helpers.
-Ensure discipline, safety, and continuous skill development on the shop floor.
-Monitor daily consumption of components and raise material requisitions when required.
-Coordinate with the store and purchase teams to avoid shortages and delays.
-Maintain clean, organized workstations following 5S standards.
-Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred).
Graduate in Engineering or any technical field (added advantage).
Experience
7-10 years of experience in lock, hardware, or mechanical assembly manufacturing.
Hands-on exposure to mechanical lock assembly, digital lock assembly, or similar precision hardware.
Skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good understanding of mechanical parts, assembly drawings, and tolerances.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of quality standards, ISO processes, and lean manufacturing.
Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP entry, reporting).

Pay: 25,470.26 - 45,000.00 per month
