Job Details

Assist in the monthly calculation of PF and ESIC deductions for payroll processing.

Manage the registration of new joiners on the ESIC and EPF portals (generating UAN and IP numbers).

Assist in the generation and filing of monthly challans for PF and ESIC within the statutory due dates.

Handle employee queries regarding PF withdrawals, transfers, and KYC updates.

Coordinate with government officials or consultants for claim settlements and accident reports under ESIC.

2. Documentation & Record Keeping

 

Maintain physical and digital registers as required under labor laws (e.g., Muster Roll, Register of Wages).

Ensure all compliance challans and receipts are filed systematically for future audits.

Assist in preparing data for internal and external labor law audits.

3. Payroll Support

 

Support the payroll team by verifying attendance data and leave records affecting statutory deductions.

Prepare statutory reports (Form 5, Form 10, etc.) as required.

4. General HR Operations

 

Assist in onboarding formalities and documentation for new hires.

Draft basic letters (Appointment, Confirmation, Relieving) regarding compliance clauses.

Requirements

 

Education & Experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in any stream (BBA/B. Com/MBA in HR preferred).

0-1 year of experience (Freshers with strong theoretical knowledge are welcome).

Certification or completed coursework in Labor Laws / Payroll Processing is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

 

Fundamental knowledge of The EPF & MP Act, 1952 and The ESI Act, 1948 is mandatory.

Understanding of what a Challan is and the timelines for filing.

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly desirable for calculation purposes.

Soft Skills:

 

High attention to detail (critical for compliance work).

Good numerical ability.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changing labor laws.

Pay: 20,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month
